Assistant accountant

About the role

An accountancy and advisory firm is looking for an assistant accountant for its compilation practice. You work for clients ranging from small to mid-sized across various sectors. You get your own mentor and short lines to management.

What you bring

• You are analytical and communicate well
• You enjoy automation and working in a team
• You have (nearly) completed an HBO degree in accountancy
• You have an eye for quality and for people
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a compilation practice
• You aim to obtain the AA qualification

What you will do

• Grow into the first point of contact for your clients
• Make sure clients always have up-to-date figures
• Visit clients regularly and build up an advisory role
• Prepare annual accounts together with colleagues
• Process financial administrations and prepare tax filings
