Assistant financial controller

About the role

A mid-sized international technology company is strengthening its finance team. In this role you support month end and year end closing and internal reporting. You keep an overview of the numbers and flag deviations early.

What you bring

• You communicate easily with colleagues outside finance
• A completed degree in finance, accounting, or business economics
• Three to five years of experience in a finance or controlling role
• Accurate and comfortable working with numbers
• Strong on the accounting side of the work
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken

What you will do

• Contribute to improving financial processes
• Spot deviations in the administration and trace their cause
• Act as the contact point for questions on invoices and bookings
• Support the month end closing and the preparation of annual figures
• Draw up internal reports and verify the underlying numbers
