Job description

About the role

An international IT services firm is looking for an experienced developer with deep cloud knowledge. In this role you turn business needs into working software that is built for the cloud from the start. You are the go to person for anything cloud related.

What you will do

  • Improve the software delivery pipeline where you see the chance
  • Gather business needs and translate them into concrete backlog items
  • Design, build, and run cloud native software yourself
  • Split complex monoliths into genuine microservices
  • Build web applications at scale with containers or serverless technology

What you bring

  • Broad experience as a developer and wide knowledge of public cloud services
  • Comfortable in several languages, such as Java, Scala, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, and Python
  • Familiar with event sourcing and eventual consistency
  • Focused on the full stack, not only on features
  • Keeps up with new languages and techniques on your own initiative
