About the role

A Dutch software organisation runs a web platform that helps mid-sized organisations manage their cyber risks. The platform processes large volumes of data and uses AI and machine learning to show risks in real time. As cloud engineer you keep the underlying cloud environment reliable, secure, and available.

What you bring

  • Speaks and writes Dutch and English
  • Takes responsibility and actively seeks collaboration within the team
  • Creative, flexible, and critical, including of your own work
  • Familiar with working in a DevOps environment
  • A feel for cyber security and interest in developments in the field
  • Experience with cloud services, open source software, and containers

What you will do

  • Build stable and secure web applications with serverless components and containers
  • Create prototypes quickly based on limited information
  • Design, manage, and monitor the cloud services behind the platform
  • Manage your own projects within an agile DevOps approach
  • Support developers with knowledge to keep the platform running
  • Automate processes and host applications using tools such as Docker and Ansible
