About the role
A Dutch provider of managed hosting and digital workplace environments is looking for a DevOps engineer. You join an internal team that automates the company's own IT environments. The aim is to let machines handle repetitive work.
What you bring
- Experience as a DevOps engineer and strong communication skills
- You take scalability, security, and monitoring into account
- Analytical, persuasive, and focused on continuous improvement
- Affinity with public cloud and CI/CD solutions
- You use or learn tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or Go
- Knowledge of virtualisation is a plus
What you will do
- Build automation and configuration management using containers such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Discuss with technical colleagues outside the team where automation has most impact
- Design and improve the internal IT infrastructure together with the team
- Deliver complete customer environments in an automated way
- Safeguard quality through performance testing, benchmarking, monitoring, and reporting
