DevOps engineer secure IT infrastructure

About the role

A Dutch specialist in IT infrastructure works for organisations with very high demands on security and continuity. The environments are small and shielded, from a handful to a few hundred workplaces, and run critical applications. In this role you design, build, and manage those environments.

What you will do

• Designing shielded infrastructure environments with strict security requirements
• Working in small project teams of around five people
• Building and delivering the designed environments
• Making sure provisions for audits and investigation are in place
• Managing and further developing environments after delivery
• Bringing network, storage, compute, and security together into one solution

What you bring

• HBO level of working and thinking, or MBO with strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with Ansible and Kubernetes is a plus
• Of good conduct; a valid security clearance is a strong advantage
• Eager to learn, flexible, and broadly deployable, with genuine interest in technology
• Knowledge of several areas: hypervisors, Windows, Linux, network virtualisation
• Experience with firewalls, domain separation, back-up, monitoring, logging, or SIEM
