About the role
For an organisation that develops smart consumer devices we are looking for an embedded software developer. You build the software users never see but rely on every day. You work in a close team alongside hardware and firmware specialists.
What you bring
- Knowledge of low-power design for connected devices
- You enjoy working in a small technical team
- Experience in embedded software development and firmware
- You work in a structured way and put quality and testing first
- Affinity with cyber security in embedded systems
What you will do
- Safeguard quality with unit tests and behaviour-driven testing
- Build complex algorithms to control IoT devices
- Align software with the product, the user, and the cloud environment
- Embed cyber security measures in the software
- Develop firmware for smart, connected devices
- Work together with hardware and firmware colleagues
