Enterprise security architect

About the role

A large Dutch organisation in the utilities sector is looking for an enterprise security architect. It works with many parties on digital services that support sustainability. In this role you make sure information security is a standard quality aspect in every architectural choice.

What you will do

• Contribute to the security capability model, target operating model, and security roadmap
• Set up suitable governance for the security architecture
• Develop security architecture principles and check that architecture deliverables apply them
• Own epics for generic platform security solutions such as monitoring and scanning
• Draft the organisation-wide security architecture based on the IT vision and strategy
• Coach architects and tech leads on security with constructive, critical feedback
• Act as the link between the security function and the enterprise, system, and tech architects

What you bring

• Experience embedding security principles in a DevOps environment, SAFe is a plus
• WO level of thinking and several years as a security architect and information security specialist
• Broad knowledge of cloud security in AWS or Azure and of cloud native application architectures
• Hands-on background as an ethical hacker, penetration tester, or security consultant
• Convincing, decisive, and politically sensitive, with a collaborative attitude
• Experience with complex distributed and data-intensive systems on a cloud platform
• Knowledge of architecture methods in an agile setting and of modelling standards, including ArchiMate

What you get

• Contract for 32 to 40 hours a week
• Annual salary of €79,000 to €124,000 including 8 per cent holiday allowance
