Finance accountant

About the role

A property management organisation is looking for a finance accountant. You keep the books for several entities and deliver the monthly and annual figures. You work in a small finance team with short lines to the board.

What you bring

• At least three years of experience as an accountant or assistant controller
• Accurate, independent, and communicative
• Completed bachelor degree in accountancy or business economics
• Experience with property administration is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Excel and a modern accounting package
• Good command of Dutch and English

What you will do

• Run the month close, including accruals and balance sheet specifications
• Prepare the annual accounts and act as contact for the external auditor
• Improve processes and the setup of the finance system
• Prepare the VAT returns and monitor the reconciliations
• Process daily entries for purchases, sales, bank, and journal
• Report to management on results and cash flows
