Job description
About the role
A small Dutch software company builds custom applications for clients in sectors ranging from construction to marketing and pharmaceuticals. The way of working is agile, with early releases and continuous improvement. You work alongside an architect or tech lead and a back-end developer on web applications that run on several types of devices.
What you bring
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Interest in how people experience and interact with software
- You keep track of new developments in your field
- Preferably familiar with Git, npm, Webpack, and an issue tracker
- Knowledge of CSS and a pre-processor such as Sass
- Comfortable with HTTP, AJAX, and REST
- Preferably experience with Angular or another SPA framework
What you will do
- Develop web applications for desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone
- Work together with an architect or tech lead and a back-end developer
- Contribute across the cycle, from design through testing and maintenance
- Keep applications as responsive as modern native mobile apps
- Build efficiently and reuse as much code as possible
