Front-end software engineer

About the role

A mid-sized software organisation builds applications around digital identity, digital signatures, card technology, and transaction services. Both back-end and front-end work is done in house, alongside native and embedded solutions. The team is looking for a front-end software engineer who enjoys variety.

What you will do

• Safeguard code quality and help improve ways of working
• Discuss possible solutions with the client and test technical feasibility
• Take part in every project phase, from analysis to user acceptance
• Work on the user experience and visual design of the applications
• Write functional and technical requirements plus analysis documentation
• Develop software solutions with a focus on front-end work and design
• Review delivered code and enable system and user testing

What you bring

• Independent, eager to learn, and flexible when planning changes
• Experience with mobile technology such as React Native or Flutter
• Critical, analytical, and accurate, with strong communication skills
• Fluent Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Java EE, Python with Django, or UX and UI design are a plus
• Broad knowledge of JavaScript with React, HTML, CSS, and web services
• Bachelor or master degree in computer science or a similar field
