Full stack PHP developer

About the role

You join a large Dutch e-commerce organisation that runs several webshops. The IT department works in scrum teams on new functionality and technical improvements. As a full stack developer you help make the webshops easier to use.

What you will do

• Check builds and automated tests on the test environment
• Build new features for the webshops
• Improve the user experience, including the checkout process
• Join stand-ups, demos, and team discussions within the scrum team
• Make the webshops responsive for mobile and tablet
• Work with the UX designer on the front-end implementation

What you bring

• HBO level of working and thinking, preferably computer science or graphic design
• You know SCSS, JavaScript, and HTML5 well
• Object oriented programming is an advantage
• Knowledge of Gulp, TypeScript, or Twig is welcome
• You have work experience with PHP
• Strong social and communication skills
• Excellent command of Dutch and English
