Job description
About the role
An IT services organisation is looking for a functional application manager for critical emergency control room systems. You work on site and act as the contact point for users. In this role you connect user questions to working systems.
What you bring
- Affinity with IT, applications, and business processes
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in functional application management
- Completed vocational MBO level 4 education in IT or systems management
- Strong communicator who translates complex information into plain language
- Good command of Dutch, both spoken and written
- Customer focused, accurate, and geared towards teamwork and results
- Preferably knowledge of ITIL, ASL, BiSL, and Prince2
What you will do
- Supporting the emergency control room on site for 36 hours per week
- Taking part in a standby rota periodically
- Managing the systems and applications used in the control rooms
- Filtering user information and exploring needs and requirements
- Keeping systems running around the clock together with the team
- Investigating and documenting user requirements and wishes
