Job description
About the role
An IT consultancy and services firm is looking for a Java developer. You work at client sites on new functionality, architecture, and team development. Your role varies per assignment, from senior engineer to team lead or architect.
What you will do
- Designing and building web applications, mobile apps, and architecture layers
- Contributing to architecture decisions and explaining the technical choices
- Explaining solutions in plain language to technical and non-technical people
- Spotting opportunities for improvement and discussing them with the client
- Coaching colleagues within the team at the client
What you bring
- Knowledge of front-end technology such as Angular, Vue.js, or Node.js
- HBO or WO degree, preferably in computer science or software engineering
- Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Docker, Git, Maven, or Gradle
- Holder of the Oracle Certified Associate certificate
- Strong communicator, client-focused, and fluent in Dutch
- Familiar with Scrum, Agile, or DevOps ways of working
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a developer
