Java developer

About the role

An international software company is looking for a Java developer to join one of its development teams. The product is a cloud application for real estate, workplace, and facility management, used by business clients across a range of sectors. You help build new features and mature the platform further.

What you will do

• Work to agile principles and continuous integration
• Build new features for users of the cloud application
• Analyse and design solutions with a product owner and software architect
• Implement, test, and ship work in a continuous development cycle
• Resolve issues and improve existing parts of the product

What you bring

• Experience integrating REST web services with a JAX-RS framework
• Familiar with HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS3
• Familiar with Spring Boot, Docker, and (My)SQL
• University level of thinking, strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Experience with Jenkins, git or subversion, and maven
• Several years of Java experience on a multiuser, customer facing application
• At least 5 years of experience in software design and development
