Job description
About the role
A Dutch organisation with in-house software development is looking for a DevOps engineer with a Java background. You work on building applications and on their automated delivery. The focus is a modern Java stack with relational databases.
What you will do
- Work with Spring, Grails, or another dependency injection framework
- Set up data access with Hibernate or another ORM
- Manage source control in Git or another SCM system
- Build and connect REST services over HTTP
- Develop applications in Java 9 or more recent
What you bring
- Nice to have: Docker and Elasticsearch
- Comfortable with HTTP and REST
- Experience with Java 9 or more recent
- Experience with PostgreSQL or another SQL database platform
- Knowledge of Spring and an ORM such as Hibernate
- Nice to have: GitLab or another CI platform, YouTrack or another issue tracker
