Junior finance accountant

About the role

A growing organisation in financial services is looking for a junior finance accountant for its finance team. You work in a setting with many clients and a high volume of transactions. A fixed mentor guides your development.

What you bring

• Completed or nearly completed degree in finance, accounting, or business economics
• First experience with bookkeeping software, for instance through an internship or side job
• Good command of Dutch and English
• Precise and structured way of working

What you will do

• Support the VAT return and other statutory filings
• Help build reporting on costs and cash flow
• Reconcile bank accounts and follow up on outstanding items
• Contribute to the monthly and quarterly closing with a senior colleague
• Process purchase and sales invoices and keep the general ledger current
