Job description

About the role

A software organisation builds a web application together with matching iOS and Android apps. All new functionality is written in Kotlin, while older modules are replaced in phases. As a developer you work on the backend as well as the connecting frontend.

What you will do

  • Work on the frontend with React and current versions
  • Maintain and refactor code with the help of TypeScript
  • Build RESTful APIs that receive and return JSON
  • Develop new functionality in Kotlin
  • Migrate legacy PHP modules to Kotlin in phases

What you bring

  • Kotlin experience is welcome but not required
  • Familiar with React and TypeScript, or willing to learn
  • Experience with backend development and APIs
  • You enjoy working with type hinting and clean code

What you get

  • Enough time to learn Kotlin if you do not have that experience yet
