Kubernetes engineer

About the role

An internationally active IT and cloud services company is looking for a Kubernetes engineer. You join a small, motivated team that develops and expands container and cloud native services, including a managed Kubernetes offering. The team runs around forty clusters and that number is growing fast.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and keep clusters up to date
• Write Helm charts for client workloads
• Manage continuous deployment and secrets management
• Share Kubernetes knowledge inside the company and with clients
• Help clients set up their Kubernetes environment

What you bring

• Bonus: experience with managed hosting, Azure, Helm charts, or Ceph
• At least one year of work with Kubernetes, Docker, or Mesos
• Operational knowledge of databases and of bash scripting
• Bonus: Python or Go, Nginx, Traefik, HAProxy, Ansible, or Terraform
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
• Experience managing Linux servers
• Curious, self-taught, and keen on complex problems
