Property accountant

About the role

A property organisation is looking for a medior property accountant. You work in a small finance team and run the administration of several property companies. You also support the senior property accountant.

What you will do

• Handle the daily accounts payable and accounts receivable administration
• Prepare tax returns, including VAT returns
• Prepare service charge settlements and set up new properties in the systems
• Review the company ledgers and resolve open, suspense, and recharge items
• Maintain the rent administration, including indexation, invoicing, and renewals
• Produce reports such as rent rolls, debtor and creditor overviews, and simple cash flows
• Process bank transactions per property and prepare payment runs

What you get

• One year contract with a salary between €3,500 and €3,900 gross per month based on 40 hours
• Travel allowance based on public transport costs or €0.23 per kilometre
• 25 days of leave based on 40 hours, plus two fixed closure days

What you bring

• Two to three years of experience in financial administration
• Experience with property administration is an advantage
• MBO plus level of working and thinking
• Training in business administration or a comparable accounting qualification
• Familiarity with property management and reporting software, such as Visionplanner or Infine, is an advantage
