Security software developer

About the role

An international software company is looking for a developer with a strong focus on security, installation, and integration. Technology moves fast, and this role makes sure the digital product reaches users safely. Prior knowledge of the software domain is not required.

What you will do

• Follow up on test results and implement improvements
• Build tests that expose the software to simulated attacks
• Respond to requests from colleagues and clients on installation, integration, and security
• Explore new techniques such as websockets, Docker, Azure, and OAuth/OIDC
• Suggest improvements that make the software safer and better
• Guide development of new techniques together with developers at an overseas location

What you bring

• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of SQL, Java, or VueJS is an advantage
• A few years of experience in a comparable role
• A hacker mindset, you spot connections that were not intended
• Independent, proactive, and a strong communicator
• Affinity with IT architecture, infrastructure, and hosting solutions
• HBO or WO level of working and thinking
