Senior assistant accountant

About the role

A mid-sized accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a senior assistant accountant for its compilation practice. You work in a specialist team for small to mid-sized clients across a range of sectors. You get your own mentor, and management is easy to reach.

What you will do

• Grow into the first point of contact for clients, including on site
• Take on an advisory role towards clients step by step
• Prepare annual accounts together with your colleagues
• Process financial administrations and prepare tax filings
• Keep clients supplied with up to date figures
• Help make work processes smarter through automation and AI tooling

What you bring

• An eye for both quality and people
• At least 2 years of experience in a compilation practice
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ambition to obtain the AA qualification
• Completed or nearly completed HBO degree in accountancy
• Interest in automation
• Team player who works in varying team set-ups
