Senior backend PHP developer

About the role

A small software company develops a SaaS platform for hospitality and event venues. The platform is growing and needs extra experienced backend knowledge. As a senior developer you build new modules and improve the existing system.

What you bring

• Critical, precise, and able to take ownership of your work
• Completed degree at HBO or WO level
• Experience with MySQL, Composer, Git, Linux, and cloud hosting
• Team player who enjoys being a sparring partner for colleagues
• At least 5 years of experience with MVC frameworks such as Symfony or Zend

What you will do

• Design and build new, sizeable modules for the platform
• Act as the point of contact for technical questions and troubleshooting
• Review code from other developers and safeguard quality
• Think along about the technical direction and product optimisation
• Work with design, UX, and sales when shaping functionality
• Spot improvements and turn them into workable technical solutions
