About the role
An international technology company in smart consumer products is looking for a senior cloud engineer. You get room to contribute strategically to the cloud environment and to guide colleagues. Design and development happen in house, so collaboration is short and direct.
What you bring
- Senior level experience as a cloud engineer or site reliability engineer
- You coach colleagues and enjoy working across teams
- You improve processes structurally and raise reliability
- Experience with monitoring and service mesh tooling such as Grafana and LinkerD
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Linux, and SQL and NoSQL databases
What you get

What you will do
- Coach and guide engineers inside and outside the team
- Manage Linux systems and SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB
- Develop and manage the cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
- Safeguard reliability, availability, and scalability with 99.9 per cent uptime as the norm
- Take part in an on-call rota outside office hours
- Initiate and secure improvement programmes and reduce costs
- Align technical choices with wider organisational goals
