Job description
About the role
An international software company is looking for a senior Java developer to help build its business software solution. The software is used by large organisations across a range of sectors. You work in a team alongside colleagues from other disciplines, including consultants and test engineers.
What you will do
- Collaborate with consultants and test engineers in a scrum team
- Translate user needs into working functionality
- Work on large projects used by clients worldwide
- Apply architectural principles within a microservices setup
- Develop and extend the business software solution
What you bring
- At least five years of software engineering experience across various projects
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with Java J2EE, web services, and microservices
- Experience with Elasticsearch, MSSQL, MongoDB, and NoSQL solutions
- Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, or Angular is a plus
- Completed bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar
- Knowledge of Spring, including MVC, Boot, Data Mongo, and Security
