Senior Java developer

About the role

You join an international software company that develops security solutions for digital services. The team builds software that combines strong security with ease of use, including single sign-on and password-free login. As a backend developer you work on new functionality and on the security of the platform.

What you bring

• Independent, structured, and focused on results and quality
• Strong software engineering skills: coding, design patterns, and testing
• Master's degree in IT or equivalent, with three to five years of relevant experience
• Experience with SQL, agile, test-driven development, Tomcat, Git, Maven, or Linux is a plus
• Knowledge of security or identity and access management is an asset
• Solid knowledge of Java 8 or later
• Fluent in English, other languages are a plus

What you will do

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Implement the required security and data protection controls
• Expose server-side logic through well-designed APIs for front-end developers and clients
• Share knowledge with team members and document your work thoroughly
• Troubleshoot issues and optimise the application for speed and scalability
• Develop new product features using agile methods, including unit testing
