Senior PHP developer

About the role

A large international online retail organisation builds its e-commerce platform and ERP system entirely in house. That software supports several web shops across a number of European countries. As a senior PHP developer you add new features and improvements that go straight into production.

What you will do

• Contribute to complex migrations, such as latin1 to utf8
• Develop internal applications for web shops and logistics systems
• Spend innovation days on improvements that benefit the wider organisation
• Step in to help colleagues who are stuck on a problem
• Work in a scrum team with sprints of two to three weeks
• Build new technical features on your own and with colleagues

What you bring

• Completed bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of thinking
• At least three years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of TypeScript is an advantage
• Strong command of PHP and SQL, plus object-oriented programming
• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English
• In-depth technical knowledge and solid analytical insight
