Senior PHP developer

About the role

A large international e-commerce organisation is looking for a senior PHP developer. Your work goes live in several webshops across different countries. You join one of the scrum teams working on in-house applications.

What you bring

• HBO level of working and thinking as a minimum
• Thorough command of PHP and SQL
• Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus
• Excellent Dutch and/or English, spoken and written
• Deep technical knowledge and strong analytical insight
• Object-oriented programming comes naturally to you
• At least four years of experience as a senior software developer

What you will do

• Design and develop entirely new features on a technical level
• Build new features for the webshops and internal applications
• Spend time on innovation projects that appeal to you
• Work in two to three week sprints within a scrum team
• Help coach junior and medior developers
• Handle complex migrations, for example from latin1 to utf8
• Improve logistics systems and existing functionality
