Senior PHP Laravel developer

About the role

You join a mid-sized Dutch organisation in graphic services. The IT team consists of specialists who work towards results and get room to try out new techniques. In this role you work independently on renewing the customer portal.

What you will do

• Connect customer specific purchasing systems to the portal
• Design a new relational database structure in MySQL or MariaDB
• Rebuild an existing portal almost independently from Laravel 4 to Laravel 8
• Add new functionality from various microservices to the portal
• Help think through and improve the internal infrastructure

What you bring

• Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and (S)CSS
• Experience with agile working and functioning well in a team
• In depth knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and version control with Git
• At least 5 years of experience as a PHP and Laravel professional
• Plus: experience with Linux system administration, Docker, or CI/CD
• Completed HBO or WO degree with a relevant background
• Analytical, curious, proactive, and able to work independently
