Senior software developer Java or Python

About the role

An international organisation in clinical research services is looking for a senior developer. This is a newly created role within a global IT and development team. You support the growth of the business applications and guide less experienced developers.

What you bring

• Experience with ERP, data migration, validation, and audit trails in regulated environments
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• HBO degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with API development such as REST, XML-RPC, and OpenAPI
• At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack lead developer in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID, search engines, CI tooling, and Git
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, AWS, and relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle

What you will do

• Work with external vendors and clients on integrations with the applications
• Support the testing and validation of the applications
• Make sure the applications meet scaling and growth requirements
• Guide developers in the design and build of business applications
• Identify and fix security, compliance, and usability risks
• Document system designs, configuration, and operating instructions thoroughly
• Advise internal and external users on resolving operational issues
