Job description
About the role
A Dutch end-user organisation is looking for a site reliability engineer. In this role you keep a cloud native platform stable, scalable, and easy to monitor.
What you will do
- Manage and automate Linux environments using infrastructure as code
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Support cloud native software development using test driven development
- Work with containers and orchestration on public cloud platforms
- Set up monitoring, metrics, and logging for platform services
What you bring
- Extensive automation experience, for example with Ansible and Terraform
- Knowledge of the HashiCorp stack, including Nomad, Consul, and Vault
- Deep understanding of networking principles, including software defined networking
- Extensive experience with Linux as an operating system
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack
