Support engineer

About the role

You join an IT services firm that manages mission critical systems and networks for its clients. The setting is informal and professional, with openness and a no-nonsense attitude. In this role you are the first point of contact for clients and keep systems running.

What you will do

• Speak with clients about incidents and service requests
• Log and report back on reports fully and correctly
• Perform preventive management on mission critical systems and networks
• Resolve incidents and service requests
• Carry out configuration management

What you bring

• Preferably some experience on a helpdesk
• Calm under pressure and service minded
• System management certifications are a plus
• Records information clearly in good Dutch
• Familiar with ITIL
• Strong communicator, analytical, and accurate
• Completed MBO qualification in IT management
