System administrator

About the role

A small Dutch IT services provider delivering tailored software and hardware solutions is looking for a system administrator. You look after the internal IT infrastructure and also work on client cloud environments. The role gives you room to experiment with new technology.

What you will do

• Manage cloud solutions, security solutions, and end-user devices
• Experiment with and apply new technology
• Keep client environments running at their best
• Coordinate implementations for new projects
• Install and manage servers, backup systems, and network equipment
• Implement and maintain client-specific cloud environments

What you bring

• Strong problem-solving skills, curious, and eager to learn
• Experience with Linux is an advantage
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Good communication skills and excellent command of Dutch
• Affinity with information security, integrity, and willing to provide a certificate of conduct
• Completed vocational qualification at MBO level 4 in IT management or similar
• Knowledge of Microsoft technology such as Azure, Microsoft365, Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Active Directory
