About the role

A mid-sized Dutch digital agency works on web publishing, online communities, and app development for large and medium-sized organisations with a social purpose. You join an experienced team of developers and designers. You help build the new back-end framework and balance features with performance.

What you bring

• More than four years of experience as a developer
• Affinity with web security is welcome, otherwise you can grow into it
• You keep up with technical developments
• HBO level of working and thinking
• Problem-solving, communicative, and a team player
• Experience with WordPress and version control such as Git
• Knowledge of React, Node, Laravel, TypeScript, Nginx, Linux, testing, or Elasticsearch is a plus

What you will do

• Work on integrations, headless systems, and personal online environments
• Contribute to the further development of the SaaS products
• Help build a new back-end framework
• Publish code as open source where possible
• Develop and maintain websites and applications in WordPress
• Discuss technical choices directly with clients
