Azure cloud architect

About the role

An international IT services firm with a small Dutch team guides clients through their move to public cloud and modern workplace solutions. The work covers transition projects and rationalising application landscapes. As cloud architect you are the point of contact for all technical questions about Azure services.

What you bring

• Experience with Bicep, Terraform, and Ansible
• Experienced Azure architect with demonstrable relevant knowledge
• Experience with Linux and open source solutions
• Works with an automation-first mindset
• Knowledge of networking, virtual networks, gateways, and firewalls
• Decisive, client-focused, and able to work independently
• Knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS and modern workplace services

What you will do

• Design landing zones for migration and security
• Build out Infra-as-Code based on templates
• Set up DevOps and CI/CD pipelines and implement containers
• Translate client requirements into a fitting cloud solution
• Configure conditional access and modern authentication
• Present your designs in proposals and workshops
