Medior test engineer

About the role

A small test consultancy is looking for a medior test engineer. The firm helps large organisations improve their software quality, from unit tests to acceptance tests and from performance testing to testing in the cloud. You work across the full breadth of testing and grow towards test automation with coaching.

What you will do

• Advise the client on the route towards better quality
• Help set up test automation
• Test new, complex software: manually, on performance, and on mobile
• Share knowledge and spar with colleagues in the team
• Contribute to requirements and user stories
• Align with engineers, developers, and administrators

What you bring

• You explain complex matters clearly to those involved
• You want to develop further in test automation
• Knowledge of current test techniques and tools
• Affinity with test automation or CI/CD
• Broad interest, from mobile and performance testing to automation
• At least 3 years of experience in testing or quality assurance
• HBO level of working and thinking
