CIAM solution architect

About the role

A large international organisation in digital technology and security is looking for a solution architect focused on consumer identity and access management. You will join a small, agile professional services team and design solutions for corporate clients worldwide. The role is technical and autonomous, with room to make decisions that matter.

What you will do

• Align with client-side architects, developers, and business users
• Treat security as the starting point of every design
• Translate use cases into workable user stories
• Contribute on integration and flows, and share UX and UI insights
• Liaise with external vendors building adjacent systems and customer portals
• Work with architects, project managers, and consultants in customer-facing project teams
• Design CIAM solutions for corporate clients within complex architectures

What you bring

• Knowledge of networking such as firewalls, TCP/IP, OSI, and WAF
• Knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, or HTML and of AWS or another cloud platform
• Experience with APIs, XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP, and with ESB, CRM, or OMS
• Proven experience in CIAM, or more broadly in identity and access management
• Familiar with ArchiMate, BPMN, use cases, and sequence diagrams
• Confident in discussions with clients, including at leadership level
• Familiar with containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes
