DevOps cloud engineer

About the role

An international IT services firm helps clients with cloud adoption and infrastructure automation. You work as both adviser and engineer on standardised cloud foundations and on migrating existing environments. The teams work Agile and Scrum, with daily standups and monthly knowledge sessions.

What you will do

• Migrate complete on-premise environments to the public cloud
• Set up and standardise CI/CD pipelines
• Help developers work with cloud-native technology
• Build standardised, reusable foundations for public cloud environments
• Work on infrastructure automation, configuration management, scripting, monitoring, and logging
• Advise clients technically based on their business needs

What you bring

• Knowledge of hybrid cloud, preferably Azure, AWS, GCP, or VMware
• Experience with configuration management such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Knowledge of database clusters, networking, Linux or Windows, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Scripting is part of your daily routine
• An HBO or WO degree, or a solid start on one
• At least 3 years of experience building and automating public cloud environments
• Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep
