Full-stack Java developer

About the role

An international IT services firm places software engineers with both small and large client organisations. For these clients we are looking for a full-stack Java developer who works in Agile teams on analysing, designing, and building systems.

What you will do

• Setting up and maintaining test automation and an automated build pipeline
• Building Java applications at varied client organisations
• Working on integration questions and data exchange between systems
• Analysing and designing object oriented systems

What you bring

• Knowledge of Java SE and EE, including EJB, JMS, XA transactions, and web services
• HBO or WO level of thinking
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and with Git
• Experience with test automation across several layers of the test pyramid
• Knowledge of XML/XSD or JSON, CI/CD, and build scripting with Ant, Ivy, or Gradle
• Demonstrable experience in an Agile or Scrum team
• Preferably experience with integration questions and an eye for code quality
