Java full stack developer

About the role

An international software organisation is looking for a full stack developer. You work on software that helps large organisations manage extensive information collections. You cover the whole chain, from backend to frontend, in an international team.

What you will do

• Take part in unit, system, and acceptance testing
• Help run continuous integration, development environments, and releases
• Build new functionality in Java and Spring, with React on the front end
• Translate requirements and designs into working code
• Design, code, and test several modules
• Analyse and fix defects in existing systems
• Join architecture reviews and load and performance tests

What you bring

• Nice to have: PostgreSQL, Git, C, and daily use of AI tools
• HBO or WO degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a software engineer
• Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Experience with AWS Lambda, EKS, and ECS
• Good knowledge of Linux and scripting
• Experience with Java, Spring, and React
