Project manager software development

About the role

A growing Dutch software company builds custom solutions for complex questions, including in healthcare and for public and scientific clients. You join a small project management team and act as the link between clients and the development team. In this way you help projects run well from idea to working product.

What you bring

• Proactive, decisive, analytically strong, and careful
• Senses commercial, social, and substantive interests and acts on them
• Three to five years of experience as project manager or management consultant
• Knowledge of Scrum, IPMA, or PRINCE2 is a plus
• Excellent Dutch and good English
• Basic knowledge of quality systems such as ISO is a plus
• Keeps an overview, sets priorities, and improvises when needed

What you will do

• Keep stakeholders informed and engaged
• Manage scope, budget, and timelines and communicate clearly about them
• Guide both the client and the development team through the build
• Keep project finances, reporting, and documentation in order
• Close projects properly and completely
• Delegate work while staying involved in delivery
• Prepare projects and plan them from idea to delivery
