Job description
About the role
An international IT services firm is looking for an experienced Java software engineer. You work in teams on projects for large client organisations across sectors. Your technical judgement and analysis help shape how those projects progress.
What you will do
- Develop Java applications for clients across different sectors
- Test code while writing it and safeguard quality
- Bring technical expertise and analysis into project teams
- Share knowledge within an active internal Java community
- Work with colleagues who keep you sharp
What you bring
- At least five years of experience as a Java engineer
- A test-driven mindset, knowing what to test and what not
- Knowledge of development tools such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, Maven, and Git
- An HBO degree
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience developing in the cloud, for example AWS or Azure
