Senior .NET developer

About the role

A large Dutch public service organisation is looking for an experienced .NET developer. Its IT organisation builds and maintains applications used by very large numbers of users. You help shape the IT landscape within the agreed architecture.

What you will do

• Build software, write unit tests, and set up automated regression scripts
• Review work delivered by other team members
• Help team members grow in DevOps ways of working, alongside the scrum master
• Take an active part in refinement, daily, retro, and review
• Work out solution directions together with the team
• Translate functional questions into standard functionality in an integrated system landscape

What you bring

• Strong analytical thinker who explains concepts clearly
• Team player who handles feedback well and separates the essential from the minor
• Experience setting up and maintaining automated tests and performance testing
• Substantial, demonstrable experience with .NET and software development
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, and XSLT
• Experience with SOAP, REST, and JSON
• Knowledge of .NET Core
