About the role
A mid-sized company that builds and optimises web shop technology, with a strong focus on speed and performance. The back-end team is looking for an experienced PHP developer. You act as the technical extension of the clients and help shape technical and strategic choices.
What you will do
- Develop back-end solutions in PHP for web shops with high performance demands
- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver improvements
- Work on several projects in parallel
- Advise clients on technical and strategic choices
- Assess new techniques and apply them where they add value
What you bring
- Familiar with OOP and principles such as DRY and KISS
- Knowledge of Linux and Nginx is a plus, as is Magento experience
- Experience with automated deployment processes
- Solid knowledge of MySQL
- Experience with version control in Git
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- At least four years of experience with PHP
