Senior Python developer

About the role

You join a mid-sized Dutch advisory firm that also develops its own digital solutions. You work in a small team with growth ambitions that works along Lean Startup lines. In this role you make knowledge and data usable for consultants and their clients.

What you will do

• Map processes and connect applications to each other
• Build data-driven models, algorithms, and scripts
• Structure unstructured data and build up the internal data warehouse
• Make time for testing and refactoring alongside experimenting
• Automate manual core tasks and processes
• Expose and publish models through your own APIs and small applications

What you bring

• Experience with databases, MS SQL is a plus
• Experience with a web framework or JavaScript is a plus
• A completed science degree in AI or computer science is a plus
• Experience with core libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
• At least 5 years of professional experience with Python
• HBO or WO level of working and thinking
