Data engineer

About the role

A growing organisation in the energy sector is looking for a data engineer. In this role you develop data pipelines that bring sources together and turn them into usable information. You work with sales, finance, and data science to translate requirements into technical solutions.

What you will do

• Coordinate improvement projects with the organisation and partners as project lead
• Help build a data platform and make data insightful with Power BI
• Draw up business cases and steer on scope, budget, time, and resources
• Analyse the impact of process and system changes on existing solutions
• Design and build data pipelines and data analyses based on stated requirements
• Support the team in selecting and implementing data solutions
• Manage and safeguard the availability and quality of data and metadata

What you bring
